The farm, known as Berndlhof, is located in the middle of Mitterberg, a climatic spa area. The village is actually called Zirting (800m above sea level) and is part of the municipal, Mitterberg – St. Martin. Our farm is situated in the tourism region, Schladming-Dachstein (Groebmingerland), which provides plenty of holiday activities. Thus, we are an ideal starting point for a recreational and/or adventurous summer and winter holiday.
We are 5 minutes drive away from Groebming, where you can find shops, restaurants, pizzeria, cafeteria, pubs and a gas station. Groebming is also 15 minutes away from the skiing slopes in Haus, which is one of the entrances to the so-called “4-mountain-skiing swing”. These are 4 different ski resorts which are connected by ski lifts.
Our accommodation Apartment Sölkblick is a top floor (attic) apartment which was recently built (2017). The rural atmosphere is designed to make you feel comfortable and provide you with a surrounding that is ideal to re-energize and revitalize. The interior of the apartment is all wooden furniture which was selected lovingly. It comprises of two separate bedrooms, each with a joint balcony, that provides a unique view to the mountains of the Soelktaeler. In the year 2023 we built a second Apartment on two floors (Mini Apartment Kammblick and a Doubleroom)
Apartment on 2 floors: Mini Appartment Kammblick and Double Room
We have built our Mini Appartment and the double room at the Berndlhof in the 2023. The Mini Appartment is on the first floor and offers you a lovely rural atmosphere. The interior of all our apartments are wooden furniture which was selected lovingly. The Mini Apartment comprises a bed alcove with a big double bed (200 x 205 cm),a separate bathroom with toilet and shower, and an integrated fully equipped kitchen with a rustic corner bench. It provides a view to the mountain Kammspitze and to the street in Zirting. The Double room is located directly above the Mini Apartment on the second floor and features a 160 x 200 cm bed, a desk, a side board with a microwave, toaster, some kitchen utensils and a bathroom with a toilet and shower. You have a view of the neighborhood and of the mountains (Kammspitze and Stoderzinken).
Equipment
The Mini-Appartment Kammblick is a small flat that offers a friendly atmosphere and generous amenities for two people. The apartment is approximately 30 squaremetres in size.
1 room with TV (SAT TV), radio, luggage rack and wardrobe and a large double bed, kitchenette and rustic corner bench (for 4 to 5 people) and a bathroom with toilet and shower.

The double room (23m²), for 2 people, is equipped with a 160 x 200 cm bed, a desk, and a small reading nook with a radio and a seperate bathroom with toilet and shower. In addition, there is a sideboard with a microwave, a kettle, a toaster and some crockery and cutlery.

We are sorry that we allow no pets in the apartment! Check In from 15:00 to 20:00 Check out by 10:00 at the latest
If desired, farm products such as fresh milk, self-made farm bread, self-made butter and cheese can be provided upon request and subject to availability. The butter and cheese are produced at our Almhuette (our chalet which is located at 1600m above sea level and where our cows graze in the summer. Upon request you can make a reservation for Hara – Shiatsu. For detail information we have some information folders in our apartment.
We are also happy to allow you to be part of our love of nature and agriculture, which may enhance your experience of feeling at home, and enable you to learn something about our home and agriculture. In Mitterberg, there are various hiking and walking paths. We will be delighted to provide you with more information about these opportunities.
We have a private alpine hut /chalet (Kaltenbachalm) at the Soelkpass which we farm and manage during summer.
